Midpoint Music Festival
Brian Kelly and his Bearcats are showing the country that UC Football is the real deal, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati was another wild time and this weekend marks one of Nati Evolvement's favorite events - the Midpoint Music Festival.
We've been honored to be involved with the festival in the past producing the festival's t-shirts, working on the Scion Streetcars or just hopping around venues listening to some fantastic tunes.
While we aren't specifically working on anything for this year's event we're certainly excited to attend and support this fantastic festival.
Be sure to get your three day wristband at http://www.mpmf.com/ and rock your Nati gear to one of the Midwest's premiere music events.

The secrets out...

MuralWorks
Two of the newest murals in our neck of the woods honor a pair of Cincinnati icons, Jim Tarbell and Samuel Hannaford.
The Tarbell mural is a quirky welcome to the ever-growing Gateway Quarter of Over-the-Rhine. Check out 5chw4r7z's post here for some pics
Just a few blocks north is the mural honoring the works of Samuel Hannaford and Emanuel's unique view of Washington Park. Visualingual has some pics and comments on the mural here.
While some have commented about the mural appearing on the south side of the building (on Race St. which is one way Southbound), keep in mind that the plans for the Washington Park garage call for 13th to be made two ways to accommodate a Race Street entrance to the underground garage.
In the meantime park-goers and pedestrians enjoy!

Tyler Nelson
We love supporting the people and projects that are making an impact around town and there's no doubt that the talented kids from 'Taking the Stage' are creating international interest in one of Cincinnati's treasures, the School for Creative and Performing Arts.
Be sure to check out Tyler's blog for exclusive content and an inside look at life at SCPA.

Midpoint is one of our favorite events. In the past we've done the event t-shirts and we were stoked last year to work on the Scion Streetcar project. Looks like this year may be the best yet.

"I had just moved back from New York, and there were some neighborhood style shops in New York that inspired me. And I saw a lack of that sort of thing when I came back (to Cincinnati) as well as a need for the perception and to give people something to cling to and something to associate with when it came to thinking of Cincinnati and thinking of specifically Downtown," Nati Evolvement founder Michael Palmer says.

Check out this Cincinnati Business Courier article for some highlights of the report.
One of the best to see:
"71 percent said their impression of downtown was “extremely” or “somewhat" positive, versus 49 percent in 2008, DCI said"
Shout out to Bill Donabedian and crew from 3CDC and Fountain Square Management Group for providing some great events on the square!

In the beginning....
Welcome to the new Nati Evolvement blog. Here we hope to keep you up to date on what we're working on and provide a forum for discussing the latest news, events and ideas that are happening in and around town.
There's a tremendous amount of energy in Cincinnati these days and it's incredible the changes that have happened in the community these last few years..
We hope that this blog provides a new way for us to connect, discuss and share what we love about Cincinnati. We also hope that you'll write in to let us know what's important to you and share your pictures of you in your favorite Nati gear.
Let the fun begin.
